It helps to include your Mac model, your macOS version, and the kind of account involved (iCloud, Gmail or other IMAP).
Questions
Where is my mail stored?
On your Mac. Correspond keeps a local cache and search index, and connects directly to your mail provider. Meantime Studio has no servers for it.
Can I get a deleted message back?
Correspond never permanently deletes anything. Trash moves a message to another folder, and the move can be undone.
Can I take back a message I just sent?
Yes. Sending has a 10-second undo window.
Can an AI agent send email from my account?
No. Agents using the command-line tool or MCP server can search your mail and write drafts. They cannot send without your approval, delete, or change your accounts.
How do I remove Google access?
Remove the account in Correspond, and revoke access at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
